The Fitbit Sense was announced on 25 August. A unique feature of this watch is a sensor to measure your stress level. Besides that, the Sense registers your sports activities, heart rate, steps, calorie burning, sleep, and more. The wearable supports contactless payment and displays notifications from your phone.

Measure your stress level and the oxygen level in your blood

The Fitbit Sense has a sensor that detects electrodermal activity, meaning the electrical activity of the skin. This works in combination with the EDA Scan app. It determines your stress level and also teaches the watch to understand stress factors.

In this way the Sense helps you to control your stress. Also, this Fitbit-smartwatch can measure the temperature of the skin. Based on this, an indication of the amount of oxygen in the blood can be given.

Built-in GPS sensor and microphone

While running, for example, you can simply record your route and see the distance and speed thanks to the GPS sensor. You don't need a phone to do this. There is also a microphone so that you can use voice control via Google Assistant.

View notifications and incoming calls

You also use the Fitbit Sense White/Gold as an extension of your smartphone. Notifications of apps and incoming messages and calls can be viewed on the AMOLED display of the Fitbit watch. As an Android user, you can return messages instantly if your phone is nearby.

Register your sports activities

The Fitbit Sense has up to twenty sports modes pre-installed. With the smartwatch on your wrist you can register all your workouts. You can check more extensive analyses in the Fitbit app. And thanks to your own music player and Spotify support, you no longer need your smartphone for music.
