In October 2020, Huami presented the Amazfit GTR 2. This smartwatch has a very good value for money and therefore interesting if you do not want to spend too much money a new smartwatch. This is the Classic Edition with a classic look, leather strap and stainless steel case.

1.39-inch colour AMOLED display

This watch has a 1.39-inch colour AMOLED display with thin bezels. With this Always-On display you always have a direct view of, for example, the time. What you see depends on the interface, which you can customise to suit your needs.

Measure your health and sleep

Of course, this Huami smartwatch has some standard sensors to get a better understanding of your health. The watch continuously measures your heart rate and you can even measure the oxygen value in your blood. The GTR 2 also records your sleep rhythm so you can improve your sleep.

Record your sports activities

The Huami Amazfit GTR 2 Classic has twelve pre-installed sports modes, such as walking, running, swimming, climbing and skiing. This allows you to record your workouts. Up to two weeks of battery life

With this Huami smartwatch, you won't have to worry about battery life. It can last up to 14 days on average use. If you only use basic functions and power saving mode, you could even make it to 38 on one battery charge. This does limit the functions.

The Amazfit GTR 2 is the extension of your phone. You can check notifications, incoming messages and calls on the smartwatch. Thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker, you can even make calls via the watch. This always works as long as your phone is connected to the GTR 2.
