The Asus ROG Phone 5 8GB 128GB Black is a phone made for one specific purpose: to provide the best gaming experience. It does this with lightning fast hardware like the Snapdragon 888 chip and 8GB of RAM.
On the back of the ROG Phone 5, there are two additional buttons to give you extra control while gaming. The huge 6000mAh battery ensures that the phone doesn't run out of power quickly, and the 144Hz screen means you won't miss a frame!
Powerful processor
Just like the previous ROG phones from Asus, this phone also has the very best hardware in the house. The Snapdragon 888 chip is the fastest processor on the market at the time of announcement, it can really run anything you would want smoothly.
Efficient charging
To provide this powerhouse with enough power, Asus has given the ROG Phone 5 a huge 6000mAh battery. This is obviously very nice when you use a lot of heavy apps, but this is not the only thing this battery is good for.
When you charge and use this phone at the same time, the power goes straight from the socket to the hardware that needs it, not through the battery! This keeps your battery fresh for longer. It also blocks incoming power when the battery is full.
Beautifully smooth display
The screen is, of course, what a gaming phone is all about. That's why the ROG Phone 5 has a 6.78-inch high-resolution screen so you can see everything in focus. The screen refreshes at 144 times per second, making images fly by extremely smoothly!
Good cameras
Where the previous ROG Phone left something to be desired in terms of the camera, Asus has made sure that this aspect of the phone is also good with the Phone 5. There are three cameras on the back with a main lens of 64 megapixels. This is supported by an ultra wide-angle lens and a macro lens.
Additional gaming features
The ROG series is known for having some nice extra features that are especially nice for gamers. For example, this phone has a small RGB screen on the back to show animations on! There's also special software for optimising your gaming experience.
