The LG Velvet is an Android phone and was presented by LG in May 2020. This device has a futuristic design due to the rounded edges. At the front, the device seems to consist almost solely of screen. You can also operate the large 6.8-inch display with a stylus.

The housing of this LG smartphone consists of an aluminum frame and glass back. Thanks to this glass, wireless charging is possible. Three cameras are placed on the back of the Velvet. In addition, the device has a fingerprint scanner under the screen, 128GB of storage space and a 3.5mm audio port.

Large screen with stylus support

The display of the LG Velvet Grey is nice and large, namely 6.8 inches. In addition, the edges are rounded so that almost the entire front consists of screen. You can imagine that it is perfect for series, movies and games. The touchscreen can be operated with a stylus, for example to make a quick note.

The LG Velvet Aurora Grey is a phone to show off because of its stylish design. The phone has an aluminum frame and glass front and back. This gives a premium look. Thanks to the glass back, wireless charging is also possible. To do this, you use a wireless charger with Qi technology.

Three cameras on the back

Three cameras have been placed on the back of the Velvet that can be used in various situations. This means you can take razor-sharp photos and 4K videos with the 48-megapixel main camera. The 8-megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens captures more on one image, which is useful when you are photographing larger landscapes. And for portraits with depth-of-field effect, you use the 5-megapixel camera with depth-of-field sensor.

128GB storage space with microSD slot

LG has provided the Velvet with 128GB of storage space. Despite the fact that the operating system takes up a small part, there is still a lot of space left for apps, games, photos and videos. Thanks to a microSD slot, you can place a memory card for more storage space.

Fast charging up to 25W

The LG Velvet supports the Quick Charge 4.0+ and Power Deliver techniques. With the right charger you can quickly charge up to 25W. This will charge your battery in no time. Wireless charging can be done with a maximum capacity of 9W.
