Packing advice

To return your product, follow the steps below. This helps you pack and send your product safely and completely. Please make sure your product is packaged carefully, as you are responsible for the condition in which Gomibo or the repair shop receives it. We’ll send you an email as soon as we have received your package.

Step 1: Prepare your product

  1. Reset your device and delete all accounts (e.g. Google, Find My iPhone). This is a requirement for the processing of your device.
  2. Remove your SIM card and any memory card from the device. You can keep these and you do not need to send them to us.
  3. Remove the case and any other accessories from your device. You can keep these. If you choose to send accessories with your device, this is at your own risk.
  4. Put your device in a small box:
    1. For an exchange or cancellation, please send the device in its original box.
    2. For a repair, use a different box. You may reuse a box. Sending the original box for a repair is at your own risk.
    3. Sending an accessory? Please always include the original packaging if you still have it, even if you are sending it in for repair.
  5. Fill any empty space in the box with, for example, bubble wrap.
  6. Use a rubber band to close the box. Never stick anything on the original box! That way, the box remains neat and tidy.

Step 2: Pack the shipping box

  1. Pack the smaller box in a sturdy shipping box. You can reuse a box, but make sure there are no other labels or stickers on it.
  2. Please include a note with the following information:
    1. Your order number;
    2. What you would like us to do with your product (exchange, repair, or cancellation);
    3. For an exchange: the full name of the new product, including the color and storage capacity (e.g., Exchange for [product name], [colour], [GB]);
    4. For a repair: a clear description of the problem.
  3. Fill any empty space with protective material such as bubble wrap or newspapers.

Step 3: Print and attach the shipping label

  1. Print out the shipping label with the delivery address and return address;
  2. Check whether your return address is correct on the shipping label. This can be your own address or Gomibo’s return address at Waagstraat 1 in Groningen. If Waagstraat 1 is listed, the package will be returned to us if something goes wrong during shipment. If the address is incorrect, you may change it (cross it out and write the correct one).
  3. Attach the label to the box and make sure there are no loose corners or edges. This helps the label stay in place during shipment.

Step 4: Send your package

  1. Drop the package off at a UPS location near you.
  2. We’ll send you an email as soon as we receive your package.
